Bro Soap. Manly soap for manly men, no chemicals that will make you gay or turn you into a woman. Comes in wood pine and musky tusk. Real men don't bathe, but when you must, use Bro Soap. No homo.

I really feel like this is an idea that needs to die. Plenty of abusive and hateful men seem to have no problems with getting the type of relationships they want; this just inadvertently promotes the idea that one needs to be a 'nice guy' in order to have a relationship. Not every guy who leans left succeeds in wooing a woman, and right wingers complaining about where the women are at are probably in circles with primarily left-leaning women and they need to go look in a church or country concert or something.

I remember people arguing that Linux having two main toolkits were holding it back back in 2000-2010 but then Microsoft invents a few billion UIs just for itself. Even the one big megacorp can't be bothered to keep things consistent.

There are still hotels with 'smoking' rooms in I think South Carolina and Kentucky at least, you definitely want to make sure you have a non-smoking room or you'll be inhaling musty old tobacco smells the entire night, something I had made the mistake of once.

I am a 'big' man and I would say that where things peaked in American culture as far as ridiculous sizes go was when a Starbucks-like chain operating in Florida was offering a 42-ounce version of a frappucino-type drink that Starbucks only provided a 24-ounce version of, this was shortly before Super Size Me came out which started to change the culture on those things.

It is not only that she ran to the right but she did so with Liz Cheney who represents the old guard that is no longer trusted by them. She is nothing but a liability and is moreso indicative of the rot in the establishment which seems to identify more with Republican-lite than anything the rank and file of the party wants. That same establishment is trying to decide which minority to throw under the bus now rather than own up to their failures.

I just flipped through the introduction of a GIMP book that the authors hoped 3.0 would be out so they could cover it but ultimately based the book on 2.6 due to delays. It's copyright 2012, apparently something (didn't) happen.

Come join me for Equinox (North Carolina, USA) and Sacred Earth (Missouri, USA) in September where I'll be bringing a selection of darkpsy, twilight and forest sounds. I mainly play at small, intimate events throughout Florida at warehouses and beaches. If you want to know what's going on psy-related in Florida feel free to reach out.

What is everyone's preferred cookware around here? I have usually preferred cast iron cookware for most things that don't involve acids but have recently started using carbon steel and prefer it for the lighter weight, longer handles and similar cooking properties. Enameled dutch oven for braising of course. I tried to stop using non-stick pans (Teflon and the like) but for certain egg and crepe recipes it just seems absolutely necessary. I would like to get a nice collection of multi-ply stainless steel / aluminum pans when I get the budget for it.
