An untested backup is no backup at all. At least test once or twice per year.

But I usually do it manually by restoring into a new instance, rather that have it done on a script.

    Yes, very often. even the SDH subtitles are often wrong. LLM subtitling is generally really bad. I mean yes it gets 95%accurate but in a standard movie that is still a inaccurate word every 20 or so.

    So what? The price is still fetched at the register. The on-shelf price is just information.

    I agree that this will let them change it faster but not really any different from before. As I said the price has for a few decades been read at the register from the barcode. Not a sticker on the item
