A few days in, I can call CQ and key up my call sign. Can't copy worth a damn just yet. Minimal time committed (2 small kids), but it's coming along better than I expected thus far.

• LICW QSO protocol - "what do I say?"

I much appreciated LICWs affirmation on Koch's focus to learn characters at speed. Some of that is explained in this video
