I did send it through, with a rule for scale - they asked for a pic of the inner core with a ruler. Didnt hear back so will assume it was a wasp (learned something new).

    According to Wilson, the Ockham awards committee alerted publishers to an amendment to the eligibility conditions in August, outlawing AI covers. He thought the books he entered for the Acorn Jann Medlicott fiction prize were on safe ground but was belatedly told by the designer that the covers were heavily reliant on AI.

    Personally not a fan of the idea. The carrot of the current approach of a 2x3 year term, where they only get the extra 3 years if they have done enough for a mellowpuff is a good check.

    /edit - having said that a 2020 poll said that 61% were in favour so there you go.

    I've already mostly cut out takeaway coffee, but if prices head upwards I might start cracking out the tea a bit more often.
