Sometimes I wonder what would've happened if Ray Romano had never been fired from NewsRadio and replaced by Joe Rogan early into production. He might've remained some vaguely amusing meathead opening for more talented comics at 'The Comedy Store' to this day... And the world might've been spared from 9 seasons of Everybody Loves Raymond.
Oh for sure, that was my point. Tobey's Peter Parker had to work normal jobs. Tom's Peter Parker hasn't... I'm hoping Brand New Day will give us at least a glimpse of a Peter Parker that has to worry about normal obligations that aren't just interpersonal relationships.
I'm so happy to see "Life with Louie" included in this meme. I loved that show as kid, but it seems like it's been lost amid nostalgia for better shows from the era. It was still pretty fuckin' good and deserves to be remembered, though.
I don't know about this meme... At one point Tobey's Spider-Man was delivering pizzas to survive, and he got fired because he was doing Spider-Man stuff on the clock. Dude had an asshole landlord too. Tom Holland's Peter Parker hasn't even scratched the surface of Tobey's "young NYC guy" struggles yet.

lol, definitely a relevant name for this piece! The Hard Times is actually one of my favorite satire sites. Unfortunately their output has slowed in the last year. But when they do post something new it’s usually amusing enough to share here.
M. Night Shyamalan was right!

This is a good reminder that someone's got to finish at the bottom of the class, even in med school.
