This is the reason why pre-purchases are a thing. The whole thing could have been less severe if the game was available for purchase with preloading some days earlier.

I pay for premium because currently it's the easier option for getting no Ads on all my devices. Yes I could install a third party client on my TV, Phone & use uBlock on Desktop, but two of those require active upkeep.

    • YouTube Music is included.

For sponsorships, YouTube Premium has the "Skip Ahead" feature which basically leeches off sponsorblock users where commonly skipped sections can be also skipped by you.

It's just currently easier to pay than to pirate. I will say however, if it gets too shitty, I will resort back to pirating.

I can personally recommend Duck Game. It supports 8 player local play.

It's a fighting game that plays on a single screen. Quite fast paced and not everyone's kind of game but so far in my experience it's been fun whenever guests come.

Fair enough, though another possibility I see is that the automated training process for LLMs used OCR for those papers (Or an already existing text version in the internet was using bad OCR) and those papers with the mashed word were written partially or fully by an LLM.

Either way, the blanket term "AI" sucks and it's honestly getting kind of annoying. Same with how much LLMs are used.

I pay for Premium and if they actually do this I'll stop my subscription. Web DRM is stupid and I hate that other Streaming Services already have it. Apart from being another resource sink in browsers, it'll stop third party clients which I use and it also turns off Nvidia Shadowplay which is annoying as it doesn't automatically turn back on once the DRM content is no longer loaded.

Why the hostility? I get not liking AI (I do not like it either), but being hostile is not necessary. Especially since the Fediverse (Sorry if this is the wrong terminology) is meant to be open and allow communities of all kinds. If you do not like something, downvote it or just block the community it is from and move on, no need to be hostile about it.
