When Covid hit i was 17, i'm italian and we had it pretty rough. After the lockdown i was left with anxiety problems i never suffered before. The last year of high school was like a fever dream, we would do like 2 weeks of school in person and 2 online and the rules changed constantly. Social interactions as i knew them before, in school and outside, changed and became more difficult. The fact that you lose a lot of friends due to everyone going to different cities to study for university didnt help either, i was basically alone for the first time in my life.

To cut it short, with highs and lows, i feel sometimes like i'm not supposed to deal with grown-up problems. Like i missed part of my life. I mean, when you enter high school youre basically still a kid and the years where you kinda are more mature are the exact ones i spent dealing with covid and its consequences. Could be because the first high school years were under my expectations and i counted on the last ones to give my youth a turn, and that's why i feel i got robbed but idk.

In general its like i arrived where i currently am (last years of uni, then who knows maybe i'll have to start working) too much fast. Like i speeded all my way in some of the best years of my life. Maybe its not totally because of covid but still, it feels like i found myself at a point far too close to the end of my youth (i mean the moment you still study and are much more free than when you will be working) and looking back i struggle to see how i ended up here.

Just a thought i had for some time, curious to see if everyone feel the same.

Hi, with the summer getting closer i want to buy a pair of sunglasses but i have no idea where to start, there's too many models (and i basically only know the classic rayban in photo and the aviators) so i'd like some suggestions.

My face shape is oval, maybe rectangular but im not 100% sure.

I'm oriented in buying second hand so i'll be saving money (ideally i would like to spend below 100€) and also i don't want to be bothered if they get scratched or damaged (since im going to the beach often, playing like beach volley and shit).

Hi all, im asking this because yesterday i went to donate blood for the first time and they asked me stuff about my medical history to make sure im ok to donate.

They asked me if i'm taking or took in the past some supplements and i said yes cause i take creatine monohydrate and protein powder. When the doctor heard this said that i absolutely shouldn't because it damages my kidneys.

I was a bit shocked because, being someone that just doesn't trust the internet blindfolded (even when the absolute majoriy of reputable sources are kinda unanimous on saying that creatine is safe to take), before starting with creatine i went to my doctor and asked if i were ok taking it and he said yes just dont exceed the suggested dosage.

so im asking because im no one to dispute a doctor's claim, but i got two very differente responses from two doctors so i'd like a clearer view on which advice to follow.

Hi, in my current PC i have an RX 580 8gb, Ryzen 5 2600 and 32gb of RAM 3000mhz CL 16 (its 3200mhz but i had stability issues and had to put them at 3000).

I recently bought a 165hz monitor but i struggle to reach that fps in CS2, which is the main game i play. I read that its a CPU game, so i guess its time to update the 2600. My goal is basically reaching around the 165-200 fps line in CS2 to benefit from the monitor with the least money possible, but if i get a CPU that will future-proof my build for some years i won't complain. (mind that i basically never play very demanding games, and when i do i don't have problems favouring fps over graphics, after all the monitor is a TN haha)

Reading around i stumbled across the 5 5600x (read also a lot about the 5700x3d but its 150 euro more so no thanks) or the 5700x. (if you have other things in mind suggest freely im open to anything)

So my question is which one should i buy and at which price? After a very quick search the 5600x is around 105€ and the 5700x 115€. Also, will the GPU bottleneck be a big problem? Btw i'll run memtest86 to check if the RAM is faulty cause i was on 3000mhz for years but i feel like if i upgrade the CPU i should at least max the ram frequency.

Hi, so basically the Masterplus application i use for my mm 720 keep alerting windows defender fot the driver vulnerabily, i've read it's common in this monitoring apps to have this problem.

Now i deleted Masterplus cause it made back the alert after doing the same some moths ago, but back then it stopped by itself somehow. I'm running a complete scan with Windows Defender to be safe.

The problem is i had to use Masterplus every time i turned my pc back on because it kept resetting my OS sensitivity back to 5 instead of 6 every reboot. So now afetr deleting everything im 90% sure im stuck on 400 DPI and 5 OS which make the mouse slower and mess with the sensitivity i had on games.

So is there a way i can set my mouse to have my preferred OS sens? Like some way directly with windows or some universal software? Thank you :)

EDIT: i think i fixed it, i went in Settings, Devices, Mouse, Additional Mouse Options, Pointer Options and then set it back to 6. I don't know if its gonna reset after the reboot but atleast i know how to chenge it back everytime. Feel free anyways to add anything, if i should be worried about the driver issue or anything.

Hi guys, a friend of fine asked if i could make him a build for his new pc, something small so he can move it around easily and not expensive, so he could have a work pc on which he could play some games (he usually play not demanding games like cs2, but he may play some heavier games from time to time) Im super out of the loop for pc's since i build mine 6 years ago some im asking some advice. I'd tend to to go with AMD both for CPU and GPU, but im open to any advice. Thank you very much!

As the title say, 5 months ago i broke up with my girlfriend, who was also one of my best friends for like 12 years. I know, very cliché. It was my first serious relationship, and the strong bond we had also before made it extremely difficult to detach from one other (for me at least). We knew each other since we were kids and apart from some periods where we wouldnt hang out often we always kept in touch, after all we went in the same high school. After Covid we started developing our friendship and our bond until finally after 2 years of a strange relationship on the edge of the border of friendship and something more, we finally started dating. It was the happiest period of my life. It was incredible, i could feel that we really loved each other on a very deep, almost visceral (don't know if its the correct word but i intend it in a good way) level because of our previous friendship that evolved in a relation. Even though we lived in 2 different city for university, the bond would grow stronger and the time were we wouldnt see each other would wrench my stomach from how much i misser her. And her too, she told me multiple times how she felt phisically the pain of missing me. I made the mistake of assuming it couldn't end, cause of all the years of friendship before and also cause we had some contrasts but we always managed to talk out of it, and i got the feeling that we would pass every obstacle. Of course, i was wrong or i wouldnt be writing this essay. Febraury she left me. To cut it short, she loved me no more. I asked if it was something i had done, she said no, even if i could think of some occasion were i was an idiot. She also said things that hurt me, she said she felt she couldnt always count on me as she did for her previous boyfriend. I was left in shock. I thought i always did everything i could, also she brought up an incident where we didnt understand each other about a phone call she asked me to do late at night. I didnt get she was asking because she had to get home on foot and she wanted to have someone on the phone. I said maybe another time cause i was out with friends and i genuinly thought it was a pleasure call, just to chat. When we met some time later i explained and all was good but she brought up again in a long discussion we had a month before breaking up. I was very sad cause i tought i had explained the misunderstanding. Anyways she left me in the only way i feel like im impotent in changing her idea. What could i do if she doesnt love me anymore? Love comes and goes and i have to accept. Still, after five months i feel im worsening. Having mentioned shes a good friend, shes in my group of friends, so she of course was invited for some parties and for graduations. Ive seen her threen times. I cant watch her in the eyes. Whener i get a glance at her body i freeze and stare in the emptiness. I get silent, im visibly disturbed. I just cant make my mind on the fact she isnt on my side anymore. That she isnt there to love no more. I know its egoistic and dont get me wrong i wish all the best for her. I wish she find somebody and lives the happiest life she can. But i cant go like this no more. The more i see her the more i understand im not getting better, in fact the exact opposite. I think its due to the fact im not letting go the idea she could change her mind, come back to me, love me again, realising she had made a mistake. I dont dare to think any other scenario. I just cant. I think i want to talk to her, but what do i say? It doesnt make sense. I dont have anything to say. She hasnt anything to say probably. I see her smiling and laughing i just cant accept in my head she has erased me like that. She went on, im here stuck on memories and feelings. I dont dare to think i will have anyone anymore. Im sure im not doing things right. Im holding on something i shouldnt, but im scared to just accept the fact its over. Now, i doubt everyone will ever read all of this. Also cause i started as question and finished telling my story, but i needed to vent. Im not talking to much about this with my friends cause i dont want to bother them too much. Dont want to be pedantic. I feel very chilidsh, im almost 23 and i cant live through a break up. I like to think of myself like a bit mature, but god feelings are hard to deal with. Anyways if anyone has tips, ill gladly take some. The ones i got for now are: you just have to accept and let time heal. And i think its solid, maybe the best. But its not working so im open. Hi, what are some exercise you would recommend to open up the chest to help with rounded shoulders and for winged scapulas. i suffer from both, not in serious way like in the pic but when im bare chested i always have to remember to "force" my shoulders back, and i had these conditions since i can remember. Im planning on getting back at the gym after a 3 months stop and im looking for some exercise to include in my new routine. Thanks in advance :)
