You still need to follow your society's expected behaviors. Like showering or wearing shoes in public venues.

A big problem is people not picking up certain queues and being ostracized then continuing to follow "be yourself." It's a downward spiral.

  1. Learn to fit in
  2. Learn when and where "rules" can be bent/broken
  3. Then be yourself

With Synology your not getting the latest greatest hardware your basically buying the DSM operating system.

DSM is a really nice one stop shop though.

Unless you know you're doing something DSM can't support it's hard to go wrong with Synology.

Just make sure whatever version you buy has access to the DSM apps. For instance, you said you use docker, so make sure the Synology device you're interested in works with Container Management.

Write down your plans and/or thoughts.

When you're not near your sticky pads, computer, or notebook and think of something new, create a note in your phone.

Once it's written down, I stop looping over the same ideas

As you complete your ideas remove/erase them. Basically, clean as you go so you stay organized.

I'm sorry, I can't believe that MX Linux and EndeavorOS are popular or recommended. I've never heard of those or seen any recommendations for that.

    I've seen Mint recommended.

People pushing arch on newbies? Wtf?
