I use it also some times but that is online ai and everything you use it for goes to someones servers so its not private. Alpaca is using ollama to run ai localy on your machine so everything you use it for is private. So those two are completly diferent and are not for comparing which one is easier to use because ease of use is not the point here. Privacy is.

    Didnt know that ollama is sharing data with facebook.. Why would it do something like that? Wouldnt that be oposite of what it was created for and that is privacy.. Where did you get that info?

    Alpaca doesnt use internet conection, you download llm and thats what you are using completly offline 🙂 Actualy its the same when you use online service, because thats what they are doing, they let you use some old llm that was trained 2 years ago and have no up do date info. Just ask simple question like what is curent presidnet of us and you will see that it doesnt have any idea.. But this way you are at least preserving your privacy. I dont want them to save my conversacions and to sell them to some other company who will sell it to some other and in the end it will end up in governmant hands.. And who knows whose also..

    Im not sure how that works. Is it the structure or simply the place. Meaby they are spawning in that place no metter if you destroy structure or not. It would be interesting experiment to see, but meaby its easier to simply get answer from someone that knows the source code of the game. And also since its open source i understand that anyone could teoreticly search for that part in the code and figure out how spawning works.

    But if you want to stop them there is one thing that comes to mind. Mobs cant spawn on slabs or carpet, basicly anything that is not full block.. So if you showel the grass they also wont be able to spawn on that. I would just place slabs around it. You can make it look nice if you want.

    So i gues ten blocks in any direction of the tower would be enough, meaby more, idk. But thats what i would do.

    I wanted this for some time now and its great we can now make world map. I think it makes you have better feel about world that soraunds you and where are you in it. Wery usefull to discover the world. For example i can make world map now and i can find all the erias that i need. Red desert with teracota is something that you definitly need and now when i find it it will be on my world map so i know exactly in what direction to fly and how long to get there and take all the terracota i need. Same for jungle biome when you want to tame a cat or other bioms. Also it makes you see how small your civilisation is in big wild world 😁 and how precious is that city of yours. 🙂

    Maps are great but one small sugestion is that they should be bigger, more zooming out, now its two times, i want it to be four, and also map should be dark covered in darkness and you should discover it by going around it. Great update overall! 😊

    This makes me thinking what is the next thing this game needs 🤔😁 There is a lot of it but lets make some order and pick one that is the most needed.

    I was enough of it and i called one friend to drill the hole and make cable connection finaly so its all good now. But i want to have wifi just in case because you newer know. So the list of well suported wifi cards will be of great help. And i was curios what was the problem at first place anyway.. Thank you all for help, you are the best. <3

    Hii to all linux users, hope you can help me.

    I updated my system a couple of days ago, pop os 24.04 LTS and wifi stoped working. The problem is i dont have wire so wifi is only connection to the internet curently. And i managed to lose it.. So i tryed to fix the problem by switching to older kernel but it didnt fix the problem unfortinetly.

    I gave up and reinstalled whole system thinking it will fix it. And since i do it i decided to try new cosmic alpha system. So i downloaded that and i like it despite its not finished and it has bugs and missing features. But that didnt fix my wifi problem! Its still not working.

    I have two ssd-s, so on my main one 1TB i have linux and thats what im using, but on second one 500GB i have windows 10 for some games that doesnt work on linux. So i was using that to download latest pop os and my wifi card works so its obviusly not dead or anything.

    I plan to get wire but i have some drilling to do for that and i would like to fix wifi card before that if possinble.

    Almost forgot, my wifi card is Asus pcie card, with two antenas, its red and wery beautifull. Tryed to uploud picture of it but my acount is new so that wasnt possible. I dont know exact model number but this one looks exactly like mine so meabu its that one.
