They wouldn't let me join because if I did they'd become the 2% That's less sexy.
Communicating in text is sometimes difficult. I expect you weren't saying I'm not gonna go to Valhalla. Putting quotes around the phrase would make it clear.
I'm more of German descent than Scandinavian and I understand that their mythologies were fairly similar. For example, today's Santa Claus is actually Teutonic Wotan. It blew my mind when I learned that. I'm just very fascinated by Norse mythology. I blame the old Thor comics that I read when I was a kid that were actually versions of stories of Thor in Valhalla.
Amazingly they were kind of sort of based on the actual legends. The death of Baldr by Loki's treachery, the birth of Sleipnir by Loki when he was in horse form. The half-giant Thor, famous for felling giants.

(tangentially I am ticked off they kept stealing Tutonic and Norse symbols (and one very prominent Indian one) and turned them into "symbols of hate". The SS uses Suwilo ( it looks like an angular "s" or "stylized lightning bolt".)
Well, he's on the unemployment line soon.
wisper is the name of the ai/tech that drives the translation. there are implementations for other platforms. i got one on Linux, but haven't really used it yet. it does work when there are other noises in the room.
This is an example of me using it in a noisy bar. The first paragraph was typed because I wasn't sure it would work. But it works fine.
One easy way to tell the difference is that one makes their accusations based on documented facts and actions. The other makes their accusations based on the nature of the human being in question.
Additionally, that perceived nature is usually a caricature of the actual nature in the first place.
Nazis traditionally labeled people on the opposite end of their political spectrum the enemy and it's not long before they are disappeared on a consistent basis.
I wonder if the people who are in the place to act are going to be able to stop the next Kristallnacht before it happens.
They already got the concentration camps in place.
Wow the Timex Sinclair. Chicklet keyboard and all. That thing was a lot harder to work with than the C64 I'm sure.
Looks like we have similar takes on what's going on because I totally agree with what you just said.
