This has been a tremendous fear of mine since childhood, but I'm quickly getting over it at 50, because NO store (aside from the grocery store) ever has what I need when I go. Brick and mortar can't compete with online and excessive options. Sure, it's great that there are 762 flavors of vodka (or whatever), but how is a Mom & Pop supposed to carry even one of each? Even large chain stores seem to always have something close or similar, but never what I actually want or need. I hate ordering certain things online, but I do it cuz I know they'll have exactly what I'm looking for and it'll be here soon enough without wasting gas and time.

In my experience, some of the people that I have met that aren't organ donors are afraid that the hospitals and doctors will do less to save you if you're in an accident so that they can use all of your organs to "save" many more people. It's dumb, but I've met a scary amount of folks who believe that.

I'm actually shocked that Goodwill wasn't selling it for $1.5M.

That is so sick! I love it. I love the knobs, they're reminiscent of that "Master of Reality" purple. I laughed at your statement about refusing to solder when it's hot out. I'm one of the handful of Americans that doesn't actually have AC and I have three projects on my desk waiting for cooler weather (it's going to feel like 45.5° here today, for instance).

Yeah, there are currently plenty of games for me to catch up on and buy before the deadline, most notably that physical copy of Silksong coming out in October (?). I'm just annoyed because I waited THIS long to get one, this is my first PS, and I then read this announcement a month later. I told my wife that with this console, if I was gonna splurge on it, would not be full of digital games like our Switch, only physical copies. So, I'm glad I can use PS4 and PS5 discs and that they have a large library full of stuff for me to spend my time and money on, just a little peeved that they had to do this at this scheduled time. But hey, who knows, maybe the announcement leads to public backlash and they reconsider their plan to phase out physical games. I can dream.
