Every stock market is different.
China markets have a 90 minute lunch mid day. South Korea prohibits short selling (Thailand now too). Taiwan charges 30 bps for overnight positions.
The nasdaq will become 24 hours soon .

There’s no such thing as a general market. They’re very diverse.

There are many countries around the world investing in their militaries. It makes me think of checkov’s rule, “if a gun is introduced into the plot, it will be used”

Encode you message as the second letter in ever word. “Coded message” could be: “actually, your odd text added small fears as ester calls, egg deficiencies…”

In prison, you’d have plenty of time to choose more natural sounding words.

In my dreams, we have a flat tax of 30% over all income beyond 40k per year.

And wouldn’t it be neat if, on the tax return form, there was question:

Where would you like your tax dollars to go: • education • military • foreign aid • welfare programs • don’t care, equally distributed

I trust the NSA a lot more than, for example, the Koch brothers, or some nameless billionaire none of us have heard of.

I rich dick can do more damage than a bunch of government employees. Giant conspiracies just don’t exist.
