I bought a Blizzard's game ages ago. I later uninstalled it, and Battle.net, because of the bad stuff I heard about Blizzard.

Recently I've been dreaming about playing one of their games (pretty much Offline). I remain unsure however. I feel that I'm adding to their power by playing the game (it runs on their servers even when played against no human players).

Thoughts on this?

I've been contemplating about https://play.freerice.com/ for a while. It lets you do menial tasks/train your mind with the function to donate for those in need at the same time.

Since I have no idea about the impact I've been working on, I decided to come here and ask about your insights. How much worth of those donations does one need in order to, say, eat healthily for one day? Live healthily for one day? Have their basic needs fulfilled for one day?

I just created a community.
And started to wonder whether it's cool/interesting enough. Or whether it even follows the rules to exist in the first place, heh...

It discusses generating enough content in a new community to give some ground for discussion, and moderating it.

But I thought that as time has passed...maybe we'd have some new/more insight or ideas/thoughts about different tips, tricks or guidelines towards creating a quality community? A 2025 version of that old post, if you will.

I felt a strange urge to buy me some bugs and let them eat my plastic garbage after watching this video 😂

Someone commented that microplastics would still emerge during/after bugs have dealt with plastics.
Do we have any bug existing that could eliminate microplastics as well?

Have you guys tried roleplaying with your characters (multiplayer)?

Not necessarily through audio but with the game chat function at least!

• Comment on the events heard/seen on the TV/radio
• Build up a character personality through their occupation and personality traits and act on them
• Tell tales of what you have done in the game
• Discuss about several locations in the game world
• Go through future prospects, goals, fears...

I tried a little bit with one friend (the others weren't interested) with one line here there. Was fun!

With modded extra animations it could get even more interesting!

Olen vuoden kahden sisään alkanut boikotoimaan erinäisiä (tuote)yhtiöitä eettisistä syistä.

Aloitin Fazerin boikotoinnin kuukausia sitten kun aloin epäillä, oliko heillä näppinsä Nestlén maailmassa.
Nyt rupesin kuitenkin katsomaan lisää, että onko ne oikeasti yhteistöissä.
