Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying, but it seems Japan was allied with Germany and Italy at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. Given this is the case, I’m not sure what fight against Japan and alongside Germany could have possibly looked like.

    It sounds like you have a very particular experience and relationship to the subject, HerbGrower? At a glance, the data seems to suggest something different. E.g., according to Uk food foundation prices for groceries in the UK have been rising (albeit more slowly recently), and many people in the UK experience food insecurity.

    They literally pay the majority of all tax in a society

    I’m going to have 1000 pizza pies, you’re going to have one. We each need to contribute to the group. You’ll give half of your pizza pie, I’ll give one whole pie. I’m a much bigger contributor than you. No one hungry should be upset with me, especially since I periodically give a slice to the people who bake all the pizzas for me. Enjoy your half pizza.

    Some protesters favored a fairly concrete set of national policy proposals…but this was regarded as an attempt to "co-opt" the "Occupy" name,…this disagreement illustrated a larger tension between the people inside the movement, such as people who wanted specific legislative demands and other people who believed that it is strength coming from remaining open, decentralized, and very broadly representative.
