Its because they don't actually want free markets. They want captive markets in a corrupt system that they can influence. The last thing want is to be forced to make a decent product at an affordable price

Make them pay back every penny that they gained by illegally colluding to raise prices.

This is simple, and thats how you know the clowns at the justice department aren't serious. You're giving them alight warning to NOT GET CAUGHT again.

I don't give two shits if they go out of business. Capitalism can only work if the markers are free and you can't point to a single free market these days. Three companies own every industry and fix prices. When thats done with illegal drugs, they're called Cartels.

He's done this before. He did it with the flotilla that Gretta was on. Dude has a well proven track record of being a piece of shit. I'm not sure why everyone seems to care THIS time.

Not the best look when a representative of your government is out kicking handcuffed protesters.

Mmmm not the same , but similar.

My single mother was changing a headlight in our garage. Like any poor person worth her salt, my mother was using a butter knife because we didn't have proper tools. I wanted to see what would happen if i crossed the cars battery terminals with the butter knife. I decided to make it look like an accident. I "bumped" the butter knife and it locked into place across the terminals. Sparks shot from both ends when it made contact. From the center out the butter knife started glowing red from the heat. It all happened so fast, i smacked the butter knife free with my right hand. 30 years later I still have the physical scar across my middle finger, and the emotional scars of what she called me (admittedly deserved).

Worse than that, I don't really have plans to build another one at all. There's 2 or 3 games that seem worth playing to me every year, and hardware prices have been stupid for a while. Between crypto mining and now AI, it doesn't seem worth it to me.

Welcome to the demand destruction part of the greed cycle.
