Restic doesn't write your files 1:1 to B2, but instead chunks their content into files according to a configurable pack size (16MiB by default). If you have a very large amount of data, you could look into increasing the pack size, although that comes with its own risks (see the docs above).

AI breakthrough

That makes it sound like there's something actually new here, but it seems like it's just a Chinese company getting closer to what "Open"AI / Anthropic already have.

It's nice that these things are open source weights, but from a technological view this isn't a breakthrough.

Not sure whether it can be done with this project, but in general you could just instruct your AI to respond with obtuse and complicated change requests on said PRs until they either give up, or one side's tokens run out.

Not really, they "just" want to remove the Iranian regime or at least cripple it to the point where it's no longer a threat. They don't care what happens to the world's oil supply. Either way, I really hope the US pushes through with the peace deal. It'll be better for the world as a whole and might even teach those warmongers a lesson.

That's what they want you to think. This chart is especially egregious with calling it "cost of revenue" as if the other costs weren't just as necessary for their revenue. If they stop R&D in 2027, they won't have any revenue by 2028 because their models will be outdated and nobody will want to use them. R&D is simply cost of doing business.

In the current political climate it's hard to see what "culture" would draw anyone to the US. Being detained by CBP and deported by ICE isn't the kind of experience most people want in their holiday.

I never claimed it would make security better. I said it would reduce noise, and it does.
