I don't know a lot about the background but this article feels super biased against one side.
It's terrible but AI tools can only make it worse.
It doesn't make it at all harder to waterproof the devices. Sony has been making them for a decade now (IP57 in 2013 on the Xperia Z), Samsung didn't have any issues with the S10 line either. This is just a lie manufacturers tell you to sell bluetooth crap.
In Europe, they tend to be out within a month of announcement, same in Asia. It's only in the US where it's later, and not nearly to that degree.
If it had a headphone jack, I'd be fine with that phone. That's a critical omission, though.
