note: I'm not sure if I can (or should) use the full name of their operation in this community

I saw this mentionned on a Mastodon post and thought i might post it here. This is an unfortunate loss for any DIYers in Europe that were relying on them.

They're currently still selling things, at a small discount, but have increased minimum order price to 135 EUR to decrease the amount of parcels they need to ship.

They're also selling their EEn raws, but im surprised at the price, maybe they're tested? No idea

Here's the notice on their website in full:

Hello Friends! We have been doing this for quite some time now but personal circumstances change and we will sadly not be able to continue offering our service past the next few months.

The extreme demand of the last few weeks has increased the pressure on us and we are now at the point to announce this and introduce the following changes.

We do still have extensive inventory left and we are offering it at a small discount now. However, since we urgently need to reduce the amount of parcels sent out, we’d like to try a minimum order amount of 135 EUR (3 items). We know this might be disappointing to some but with the reduced prices it comes to the perfect size for a little stash or to pool with local friends from your community.

This might not be the end forever, but we will be on hiatus once our inventory is depleted. Until then, we will continue to top up the inventory in the shop regularly, so don’t worry if some products are temporarily out of stock.

Signal is on device cryptography, that's the whole point of E2EE. Same for WhatsApp theoretically so iirc it just leaks a shit ton of metadata.

This is more the stage of needing off device cryptography that you then paste into the messenger because the backdoor would be on your device but before the message is encrypted and sent

Cool but nobody's about to link to prerequisite information like typing on a keyboard. Same for math, a book focusing on integration isn't going to say "read this book for the basics of addition btw".

And why should one even cater to that? If a person is interested enough they can just.. look up the things they don't understand, that's not exactly hard

The Trump administration on Wednesday threatened federal employees with “adverse consequences” if they fail to report on colleagues who defy orders to purge diversity, equity and inclusion efforts from their agencies.

Tens of thousands of workers were put on notice that officials would not tolerate any efforts to “disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language.” Emails sent out, which were based on a template from the Office of Personnel Management, gave employees 10 days to report their observations to a special email account without risking disciplinary action.

“There will be no adverse consequences for timely reporting this information,” the template sent to agency heads said. “However, failure to report this information within 10 days may result in adverse consequences.”
