Different lemming here, I use continuwuity, and have been quite pleased at how little hassle there was compared to my earlier attempt at one of the other options. The devs and community are friendly and helpful as well.

This is amazing and awesome and I'm just jumping in to say great job and keep it going! This is the kind of work that has got to get done to get the balm really rolling :D

As for apps on mobile Linux, I guess I don't know as I'm not sure which apps I already use on Linux work / work well on mobile Linux.

I'd second Immich, I guess I should look to see if there is a Home Assistant app, but mostly I would need to take a look for equivalents for mobile linux and I'm not sure where to start on that.

"A traveller from an antique land who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone stand in the desert."

    OZYMANDIAS

    • PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEY

These words have ways stuck with me, reminding me of the rest of the poem, but mainly reminding me that even vast, expensive and truly effortful things that many once cared about will eventually decay and become forgotten. Similar to the other post that this too shall pass.

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"

Same, I fight the consumerist urge to catch them all keep everything, but instead shoot for a lower need to purchase more and consume more hardware. Electricity is cheap where I live, so downloading, then deleting shows that I and my household are unlikely to watch again for many years just makes more sense.

This article may be at least partially ai written - this paragraph under number 7 in particular is quite suspicious:

"For extra paranoia, some owners store their entire car in a Faraday garage or use signal-blocking paint—extreme, but effective."

Wild. It seems like it must be popular, there a bunch of comments here with it! I guess I am really not in the same kind of meal planning world the rest of the commenters are in! These have been really entertaining & educational for me to read.
