I miss my old, hugely based feed on lemmy.ml, now it's just libs everywhere... so I followed your advice and moved here!

    The front page of Lemmy is so bad. Lots of complaining about wealth inequality and the general shitty conditions capitalism has created, and also lots of socialist bashing 🤔

    It's very satisfying to complain about a problem if there is no actual solution. It is an awful feeling when you're just complaining instead of trying to fix things. The existence of someone out there actually trying to fix problems you are just complaining about makes people feel really bad about themselves. So libs have to badmouth socialists at every opportunity so they can still insist their inane complaints are the height of morality and that doing anything about a problem is actually "less moral" than just complaining about it.

    It's pretty funny to think about really. Some angry liberal with a sockpuppet account or two, or maybe a couple of liberals just go through every comment on Lemmygrad and downvote them. I wonder what goes through their head when they do this? Are they proud? Angry? Is it more of an impulse at this point, like an itch they need to scratch?

    We've got our own lib problem here, but unlike on lemmy.ml theres an entire community of comrades that will dunk the hell out of them for your enjoyment. Could be quite cathartic if you're into it.

    Greetings! I'm also considering purging my lemmy.ml account and just subbing to the more mainstream comms from there that I care about on this account. I've very much realized I'm not missing out on the content from the servers that are hostile towards or defederated from lemmygrad.

    I will so deeply miss the fantastic content of the lemmy.ml memes comms though 😭
