Arch Installation Script not working (feddit.de)

I want install Arch on a new laptop(that cureently runs Windows 10) I just bought. Since I don't want to run through the installation manually(again) I want to use the installation script. Unfortunately I have a small problem. I can configure everything as I want, except the drives. When I click enter on the tab for the drives it opens a black screen with nothing in it. I can write in it anything I want, but commands don't work. It is also impossible to exit this window except if I use ctrl+c. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

First are you using the latest arch iso then get that then check if there are updates for archinstall and is windows fully shutdown i.e do you have fast startup enabled or not if so disable it .

    You may need to clear your HDD first, run cfdisk I have had issues when doing an install over an existing OS, it doesn't seem to like having existing data so you have to clear it first with the command then rerun the install script.

    So we've gone full circle and we're now back with a crappy installer that does not work properly and needs manual work outside the installer?

    It takes 5 minutes to install Arch manually so why even bother using scripts?

    Are you using the most recent Arch ISO?

    Try to format drive directly from tty, and then use Archinstall script.
