I have to say, Socotra is my favourite coffee shop in A2, and yet the Daily doesn't even mention it.

They also left out Lowertown, which is a pretty great place to hang out, especially when the weather’s good. Hyperion is my favorite roaster in this area. I haven’t been to Socotra yet - what do you like about it?

    I'm a big fan of both the Mofawar and their honeycomb bread, neither of which you can get at most coffee shops around town. I'd imagine that might change with more Yemeni coffee shops opening though!
