It’s really sad these days that “my algorithmic feed didn’t show me an article about this thing” has become equated with “no one is talking about this thing”. So many of us live in our little bubbles but still think that it’s fifty years ago and we all read the same three newspapers. We get fed different content based on what we consume; that’s a fact of modern media. If you want to know what’s out there, you need to search for it.

People talking with out doing any basic due diligance is an internet classic.

But fediverse is deff grade above normal socials, people engage and bring reciepts!

Refreshing to be able to learn!

By the end reddit felt like it was just bots and paid shills.

Historical, yes. They have recently realized that Russia does not have their back and the relationship has changed.

No doubt and good policy shift imho but west ain't gonna save them now, they really can't.

Their best bet is Iran who can actually do something and has a reason to do so but that's another mistake tbh too.

Not really sure what Armenia can do at this point since Azerbaijan appears to be on a war path and has capability to execute.

Study a little bit of the history of great power alliances and the group of "historically allied with Russia" becomes pretty large.

History most decidedly did not start in 1992.

Meanwhile, Turkey still does not recognize the Armenian Genocide, while playing pretend champion of human rights in the ICJ.

Armenia is shitting bricks since their entire geopolitical posture collapsed when Russia bailed on them.

Azeris might do a similar thing to them now. And jack shit anyone can do about it...

Shoulda never get into bed with Russia like that over a war of territorial conquest

Their "leaders" really done fucked up in 1990s and there is nothing that can be done now.

Or they are also a country that has experienced genocide and also has countrymen facing religious persecution in Jerusalem just for being Christian on a daily basis

"Defend ethnic Armenians in nagorno karabah against a genocide" by expelling Azeris from the region with military force which is to this day recognized as territory of Azerbaijan

This was done when Armenia had materiel advantage and strong Russian support. This is the FA portion

Azeri spent last 30 years planning a come back while Armenian leadership was too busy doing corruption and got caught with dicks in their hands while suclong Putin's dick for free!

Do you really expect the world community to rally around Armenia with this historical context like this?

This is a classic FAFO, armenia is in FO stage now. Weatern pivot is likely too late and Azeris will seize southern Armenia unelss Iran stops them.

Here you go, dear, enjoy ;)
