Hey everyone, quick update, I've not forgotten about the iPad version or people looking to get onto the TestFlight.

I'm in the process of re-working the app into a three column layout; removing the tab bar and having app sidebar to replace it. Home and communities will be split with a list view for the posts and detail view for the comments.

I want to get this to a decent stage before I push it out for anyone to test.

Just like the iPhone version was. This will break and should be considered an alpha.

Are there plans to support shortcuts?

Would love to see the following ones first.

CMD+N for creating a new post. CMD+Enter for submitting the post. CMD+shift+F for global search. CMD+F for searching the current view.

First impressions are pretty good, way netter optimized for iPadOS than any other Lemmy client richt now.

One bug I've found so far: pressing on the profile icon in the navigation bar opens the Inbox and not the profile.

I changed my phone to an iPhone 15. For some reason it’s not remembering that I paid for the lifetime subscription. When I select restore purchase nothing happens

Buttons text doesn’t seem to be horizontally-aligned to its button (see Home in the screenshot, looks higher than it should be) and the buttons doesn’t seem to be spaced out evenly.

If you’re viewing a community and tap on Home or double-tap it, it doesn’t redirect you to Home.

When tapping on an image to view it full screen, the app’s sidebar for some odd reason does a full screen mode and then animate back into regular mode when dismissing the video.

Did I miss the cut for this? I didn’t see any post to sign up for the TestFlight.

Still crashes just scrolling in about 5 min. Every time now on my iPad 7.

The automatic system theme only works when starting the app fresh / after closing it and opening it again. It won’t “hot swap” between dark and light mode as other apps does.

Why was I removed from the beta?

Any update on this? I paid partly because I wanted to support the development of the iPad version.
