33 million concurrent users (players or log ins?), I remember when 5 digits of players across battle net was cause for notice.

'Apparently Steam is also being used across seven continents, with the platform having "delivered 200GB of installs and updates to Antarctica in the last seven days." Presumably that's one lonely Antarctic researcher downloading Modern Warfare.'

Authors got jokes. I wonder if it wasn't someone looking for a better currency exchange rate

    Wouldn't be surprised at all if they are legit downloads. Gaming feels like a high tier way of recreation when outside is off limits. You can only build so many snow men before it becomes old

    Being stuck inside during COVID gave me that epiphany. Now I buy games to save money. It used to be the other way around, but these days a night out or going for a day trip somewhere can cost more than a game that'll eat up hours of my recreation needs over the upcoming months.

    I've never been one for staying indoors and watching TV for too long, but it's just costing too much to go out the front door often. Games feel different and they scratch my itch to go out, especially if friends are playing too.
