    I'm a massive newbie to everything fediverse so I'm a little confused what this means exactly. I'm not seeing any NSFW stuff, but I am logged in. However, my account is registered to a different instance. Does this post mean I should be logged into an account registered on the lemmynsfw instance? Or is the reason I'm not seeing the NSFW content separate from this?

    If you are registered on an instance other than lemmynsfw, you or someone on your instance have to be subscribed to the community in question and you have to have set "Show NSFW" in your settings to see NSFW content.

    It seems that my settings were all correct and it was working all along. At least if I visit gonewild I do see the posts. I was just confused that I'm not seeing NSFW posts in the lemmynsfw feed but I'm starting to think I'm just misunderstanding the fundamentals of lemmy. I'm still a little lost about how to navigate this universe, as it were. If I look at lemmynsfw all I see is informational posts like this one, no actual NSFW content at all. Am I supposed to go to communities within lemmynsfw? Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask these kind of questions by the way.

    Even though I was able to see NSFW posts after I figured out the community links, I was not able to list NSFW communities, even though I was logged into another lemmy instance. I overcame this by clicking on random user accounts registered on lemmynsfw and seeing where they were posing. It would be really nice to be able to list communities with an account not registered on lemmynsfw, or have a feed of everything.
