Here's the post title that I removed and banned you for. It's not the first post of yours that I've had to remove.

I'm not a mod there, but based on your description it sounds like that post would go against their rule 5:
- Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, itβs on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
edit: You got banned for trolling: https://lemmy.ca/modlog?userId=31725706
Yeah, I saw thatπ€¦ββοΈ the ptsd from reddit era got triggered, not gonna lie. I thought that was dull thing I did. And I was not trolling.
I should find a mildly dull community π¬
So how would I reach the mod, is it same as a normal user or is that not allowed because I already messaged them as a normal user.
Let me explain, on reddit you should not message the mod from their account and instead use what is called a modmail. Is it the same on lemmy?
Yes, for now you would reach out to individual mods over DMs.
I think the community you are looking for might be !lemmyshitpost@lemmy.world, or similar casual / silly communities. That community isn't really for the kinds of posts you've made
I guess i was deemed a troll, this modlog feature is cool, open data!
Ps: I was able to see the modlog within Summit app.
What about reaching the mod, do you message them like normal users, or is there a modmail feature similar to reddit?
Also, do you think I was trolling?!
Honestly, I'd never really message a mod. I've got shit on my account and it doesn't bother me. You just can't interact with the affected community.
If you do want to get back in that particular community, I would read the rules and determine 1) if there's anything forbidding you from contacting mods and 2) if your post broke any of the rules. If you did break a rule and a appeal is allowed you could message them, and note that you recognize the specific rule you broke, apologize, ask for forgiveness and assure them you'll be diligent in following rules going forward. I wouldn't hold your breath though, cause they've got lives of their own. I definitely would post to power tripping mods or whatever, besmirching them will get you nowhere.
I'm not gonna make an assessment on your actions.
Guess who got unbanned, baby. Oh yeah.
But I found this community and a rule/law of the land made me confused, but there are like 10 mods!
Which one should I message!? There should be a modmail thing like reddit but per my online searching and ai asking it seems like lemmy don't have that feature.. But then I am literally mentally retarded (no joke, like medically)
You get old and accept these kind of shit.
If you are curious it was the lemmh shit post community... I have to sea3ch that law I forgot.
So.the rule was... well, is be respectful.
What if my post disrespected me! I always do that.
Look in the community's sidebar (where you find the description etc.) for the modlog and the accounts of mods. I don't know how to do that in Summit, sry.
I found the mod name, and it opened a profile and I was able to message them, is that the appropriate way? Or is that the personal account or something.
Like on reddit you have the mod mail and you could message the mod as a reddit user.
Is it the same on lemmy
I have indeed never had to contact a mod but if they're listing an account in the modlist, I would assume you're meant to contact that account in its function as a mod account. Chill, being banned is not the end of the world.
I am always insert meme
Once again I open a thread about drama and I already have OP labeled as a troll.
What do you mean by drama?
I was not trolling, it was a misunderstanding, daddy chill . Don't make me feel like I am on reddit again.
Don't jump to conclusions, okay? I GOT UNBANNED, OHHHH YEAH, YOU HEARD IT RIGHT!
but one question remains, which mod should I message when I need to contact mods on lemmy.
On reddit you don't pick, you just contact the modmail and there all mods can see your message.
Does lemmy have that?
