You're literally given a popup you have to acknowledge stating that choosing to share via public link will get your chat indexed by search engines and available to the public internet

    I just tried searching site:claude.ai/share on Google and DDG. Both showed no results.

    By Sunday, Google results for the affected Claude share pages had largely disappeared. That suggests either rapid deindexing after the issue gained attention or a backend fix from Anthropic. The company had not issued a public statement at the time of reporting.

    It looks like some other search engines like Brave may still pull them up.

    Edit: someone saved them to Github but then removed all the NSFW ones.

    Prime example of why you should not put personal information into AI prompts.
