I'm not sure if it's an imaginary friend, identity disorder, or what, but when I'm alone, we're together. We keep each other safe. There's no one I trust more.

Stop putting up with disrespect, infantilization, having your time wasted, being lied to, from anyone.

Not the same as 'be an aggressive asshole', but, have clear, defined boundaries, do not allow people to cross them without letting people know that they have, and that you take that as an insult.

In defining yourself, you strengthen the integrity of your self-image.

Beyond that, find something, doesn't matter what, that you can do a little of, every day.

Do it, and become better at it.

For yourself, not for the admiration or validation of others.

You will then know that you are capable of growth, becoming more of what you want to be, that you have at least some real power over yourself, and your life, no matter how small it may seem.

... the only frontier that has ever existed, is the self.
