his defamation lawsuit against the BBC.

The British Broadcasting Corporation? Oh please tell me more!

Brito told Lett the president’s approach to the case has “evolved” and he is now pursuing only damage to his reputation — not his businesses — as a result of how the BBC spliced together portions of Trump’s Jan. 6, 2021 speech.

OK.

Trump contends that the edit made it sound like he called for violence when he did not.

Oh come on. Any version of that speech sounds like he called for violence. Because he did. Still does, I mean look where we are now.

Anyhow, good luck suing the BBC.

I'm surprised he didn't duck out before discovery.

Did he run out of lawyers to go all "queen of hearts" on?

Well, well... this could be fun. Any bets on whether he'll drop the suit or open that can of worms?

the can of worms is open. They're in discovery now, which is the exchange of documents. (In this case, BBC gets to see trumps financials to show that Trump was lying about his businesses)

Trump can appeal the decision (and probably will) but I don't think he's allowed to just pull out.
