I'm reminded of when I cut off a transphobe by saying "Yes, yes, I know, you're a fucking attack helicopter"
He then said "I wasn't going to say I was a fucking attack helicopter"
Without missing a beat I told him "Right, sorry, incel, so not a FUCKING attack helicopter"
I first heard the attack helicopter joke from a trans friend who was super into military hardware and she thought it was the funniest shit ever. I didn't realize it was supposed to be transphobic for years. The way she made it sound was more like "hell yes my gender can be anything and no one can stop me!"
i feel like attack helicopter in 2021 is kinda crazy. that was a 6 year old "joke" by that point.
Conservatives are still using it now. They are allergic to personal growth.
haven't told this in a while, used to be in my clipboard.
the first attack helicopter, the Bell UH-1 Iroquois, was originally designed as a medvac helicopter.
it was later given a machine gun mount and turned into an attack helicopter.
NO ONE would say, hey look at that medvac helicopter that identifies as an attack helicopter.
The teenage edgelord to bisexual 20 something pipeline is real
Teenage edgelord to bisexual 20 something to transgender 30 something reporting for duty 🫡
It took me so long to realise it was suppos!d to be a transphobic statement. I usualy seen it in games like tf2 after someone gets into a crazy spot and getting asked how they got up there.
I like this one. Because it shows us as humans, dipping our toes into something to see if it's okay and then when we figure out nobody gives a shit, then we can be ourselves.
There's a reason why people protesting something usually become it: you are what you think about.
