Is this normal kitten behavior? He hasn't quite grasped the concept of scenting yet.

He'll figure it out, or he won't, and either way it'll be adorable <3

My cat will rub down the length of my inner arm and then nuzzle into my armpit hard.

And sometimes she goes for a little nibble, the little shit.

Usually when ours do the snout push it's to get you to pet them.

Totally normal. One of mine half tries to eat your hand, when she does that. It’s weirdly adorable. Drool and all.

My Garfunkel does this every time he wants/receives pets. It's his routine and he is over 13.

My girl rubs her nose on my hand and she's pushing 3. It's adorable.

Side of the mouth is scenting to claim you as his.

Pushing his head into your hand is usually saying "Pet me slave and you may live another day".
