White House adviser Stephen Miller was the driving force behind the Justice Department’s recent memo authorizing states to institutionalize people with disabilities rather than fund community-based care, said people briefed on the situation.

I'm pretty sure that if Miller hadn't found success as a Machiavellian shitbag, he would've ended up a mass shooter.

Nah, if his family hadn't been rich, he would've been that creepy coworker we've all had, and not much more. You know, the one that keeps acting weird around nonwhite people, but never QUITE in a way that gets HR involved.

It's eugenics, pure and simple. It's our future. It's not going to change.

I wonder if male baldness can be construed as a disability - or a sign of bad genes or something. Maybe Stephen Miller should be institutionalized too.

The obvious signs of psychopathy in this dude should be enough to put him in a straitjacket I would think though...

The Nazis too institutionalized those with disabilities.

    And then they disappeared them.

I'm retired from an IT position with a community college. I have a wife, two cats, a house, and a Honda Accord. I work out 4 days a week.

I'm also autistic. And this administration has openly discussed forcing me into a work camp.

Both my wife and I are disabled. Fortunately, we don't live in a fascist hellhole anymore. We left the US in 2002.

Where did you go and how? It seems like options are limited unless you're lucky enough to have some kind of tie to another country already.

in-demand technical skills can get you out of the US. There are lots of companies in the EU that will import you, basically. You won't make US money, but overall quality of life is arguably better over here.

They said Miller felt DOJ’s agreements—including one reached with South Carolina in December—would increase homelessness and didn’t adhere to President Donald Trump’s July executive order pressuring cities and states to move homeless people into treatment centers.

Kind of surprised by that. Not half-pint Himmler.

I used to wish death upon Stephen Miller. Now, I wish for him to be severely disabled.
