from some redditalternatives comments it looks like reddit is overrun with bots

and lemmy is a thing but still probably a lot of biased leftwing stuff (besides instances like here - I haven't been active, have more instances popped up that are decent?)

and then there's a lot of basically vibecoded-tier forums which are gonna be small and niche

and that's the internet for us right now or you know of other things besides what I've listed

    "federating downstream from lemmy" makes it sound less like a fediverse server and more like lemmys sloppy seconds
