There is a reason Brawndo is in the picture.

Maybe you didn't get the hint.

I got it, but my point was that buttfuckers was a joke based on an already existing restaurant that you can go to right now and is just as dumb as the movie version.

Just like how the octagon on the White House lawn is real and just as absurd as it was in idiocracy.

What happened to them? Fuddruckers was fucking awesome when I was a kid. Took my family to one while on vacation a few years ago and it really was terrible. The burger was flavorless and the toppings were all super low quality. Made me sad. I thought I was about to show my family something from my childhood. All disappointment.

Probably 20 years of cost optimization.

yea, i remember it being a 'good' place, too. i think its downward spiral started when the founder left the company in the late 80s, and picked-up steam when the company sold itself a decade later. today's company is not the same as even then, either. it's been through more ownership changes, a bankruptcy, and its then-owner luby's was nearly a covid casualty--all but set to shut down completely before finding buyers for the scraps that still remained.

Fuddruckers is from San Antonio, and now we ain't got none. It's so weird to drive by the original location, which sat abandoned for years, and now see an empty lot.

The burgers were horrifyingly greasy, but those fries were amazing, the buns were incredible, and the nachos were the only decent entree if you wanted to avoid diarrhea.

Also, I just had a flashback to the '90s when my mom would always order the taco salad, and then wonder why she never lost weight.

Fwiw, I avoid anything the toddler and his cronies advertise like the plague.
