A community to discuss video game modding.

While video game modding is typically associated with PC gaming this community isn't limited to just that aspect. Things like source ports/game engine recreations, emulation and ROM hacks, and even modding games on console all are neat avenues for discussion!

Guidelines:

Be nice to others.
Don't post lewd NSFW photos or videos. Discussion, in the context of modding, is allowed but may fit better in a different community like !lewdgames@lemmynsfw.com.
Avoid clickbait titles. Even if it means altering the original suggested title.
Avoid dumping links. The body of a post can be used to provide context, a summary, a question for community discussion, or additional sources for example.
Feel free to reach out to the moderator. If you want something added to the guidelines section/stickied posts or require anything else.

Fallout 4 is what comes to mind for me. I hate the dialogue system with a passion. I want to know what my character is going to say. I don't want vague LA Noire-style prompts that are immediately going to go off the rails.
