Used to think Idiocracy was dystopian. Turns out it's the utopian version of events.

Sometimes I think Trump watched Idiocracy and thought it was an instructional video

Camacho would make a far better president. He actually appointed the smartest man alive to fix things.

Idiocy would make for a utopia compared to what we're stuck with, which is malice. The future we're building is much darker than the one depicted in Idiocracy.

Once they recognize that there is are problems and then find the smartest people in the world to solve them, we can compare it to Idiocracy. So far they've done the opposite - made problems worse, create new problems, and got rid of the smart people trying to work on it.

You know all those dystopian movies that feature evil people watching the lower classes fighting in a large public ring for pure violent pleasure? We are now in all those movies merged into one badly written featureless film. Can someone find the remote and hit the off button please.

These people are shallow and depravedly hedonistic, sure, but not "simple". They're not mentally handicapped, they have chosen, every day of their lives, to be cunts. To be evil. To care only about themselves because it's the core and only commandment of Western civ: no matter the consequences, get the bag/fuck you, I got mine. American society as a whole might be shockingly stupid and resemble the folks in Idiocracy, but the leaders aren't, they're just very very very evil people, and that's a matter of personal choice.

This is way to disorganized for Idiocracy. No one would ever get no brawndo.

It's so frustrating as an mma fan of 20+ years that this is happening. Absolutely radioactive and poisonous administration. Imagine how shitty you have to be to make this sport (which I love) look worse.

Idiocracy was optimistic.

As usual, they will do whatever they feel like in the moment, regardless of reason or hypocrisy or morals. You know the type.

Ideocracy: People don't have the mental capacity to see what's wrong. The ruling elite is just stupid.
Current timeline: People know exactly what's wrong and are captured in a system spiraling to the bottom. The ruling elite does the wrong thing on purpose because of expected personal gains.

This is not Ideocracy. It's oligarchy.
