I long ago came to the conclusion that a slice of the American Dream is still out there to be had, as long as you don't mind cutting it out of a bunch of suckers and rubes. Depends on the town. Some of the ones in the Bible Belt? Absolutely possible. In others it's completely possible they knew the kids were lying and decided it was fun to play along and get them to a concert.
