Great choice to leave that cesspit. It's unfortunate that it's due to harassment. It's a hateful place. Always has been, but it's worse since Elon took it.

More people should leave it.

I genuinely do not think so, and I think the fake outrage is motivated by homophobia.

As soon as you mentioned the MC being gay, I figured that was the reason too. There are quite a few manga and anime that have inappropriate relations between teachers and students, but this one gets singled out (even if it's not that inappropriate, looking at your comment)?

Let's hope she opens up her own blog elsewhere.
Twitter has always been a cesspit. But now it's a Nazipit.

I just have watched the first few episodes of the anime and I thought it was extremely milquetoast (tbf teenage romance isn't interesting to me but I appreciatte the old school artstyle). They didn't show the octopus thing as it was in the manga but I got the joke. "Raunchy" definitely isn't the word that comes to mind. I thought The Summer Hikaru Died was a bit more so. But then I'm old and I've seen some shit.

X probs wouldn't be a good platform for this so eh... hope she moves to BlueSky or something and keeps doing what she's doing.

Hmm. Interesting. I read the manga a long while ago, and while I didn't like it, I wouldn't say it was inappropriate.
