After reading this article I was super convinced and decided to click that "See Ray-Ban Meta at Amazon" at the end of it to make a purchase ;)

This "user choice" narrative falls apart when you realize the settings ship with cloud enabled by default and the terms of service are a wall of legalese nobody reads. Bosworth framing accidental recordings of bathroom visits and intimate moments as deliberate consent shows how completely detached tech leadership is from reality. Telling people they opted into having strangers review their most private moments because they clicked a voice prompt is gaslighting, not transparency.

    no worries haha just surprised to find it on the Fediverse, usually people here aren't insulting tbh On Reddit it's super normal haha like 100 people like what you post and 1 person write like FU I HATE YOU ;)

    I normally try to be better about that and let one slip this morning I guess. Sounded way worse in text than I meant it but it still wasn't nice.

    I also sometimes quick read and make mistakes, especially irony like this is the hardest to not misunderstand. Honestly awesome replies, not many people are willing to admit a mistake, especially not online, it's not easy, compliment for that, really <3 Nobody is perfect, all we can do is try to do better :))
