▲ 21 ▼ Bicycle headlight - S2/S6/S8 mount on an Origin8 stem (lemmy.world) submitted 2 years ago* by MashedPotatoJeff@lemmy.world to c/flashlight@lemmy.world 3 comments fedilink hide all child comments Flashlight is an S6 with Osram W1. The mount is designed to aim at about 10 degrees down from the level of the top of the stem, whatever that is. With the Osram the hotspot ends about 20' out.

[–] vaionko@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 years ago (1 child) Does it blind other bikers? permalink fedilink source hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] MashedPotatoJeff@lemmy.world [S] 1 point 2 years ago* It shouldn't, the hotspot is well below eye level unless you're on a recumbent bike. If I ever run into another rider at night I'll let you know. I should add that it's on maximum brightness for the photo (5A); I don't usually have it that bright to ride. permalink fedilink source parent
