but i don't think it's a sync problem, it does similarly in thunder.

Have you tried loading the same things on the web ui? That would be my first suggestion, to help you see if it's Sync or Lemm.ee. That's what I would do, anyhow.

Maybe someone else has an actual answer for you, but until then, maybe you can test .

Have you tried clearing Sync's cache?

I haven't experienced this, but I may not be on the same tier of sync as you (I'm unpaid), or I may not be visiting the right pages (I don't know what that refers to). Otherwise my sync viewer has backed the same way it always has in the way I use it (browsing hot and top of the day)
