Could they have tried to make it appear at least slightly distinct from factorio? The graphics, the interface, the sound effects, the music, all could be out of some new teaser from Wube.

If I wanted to play factorio, I could just play factorio.

Hopefully as they iterate on the concept it'll start to become more distinct.

Ufff. Ultracube was one of the mods I never dared to touch. Everything I saw looked just too complicated or too much of a busywork for my liking. But it shows the guy thinks outside of the box. So maybe the concept could be pretty interesting. 

The mention of caverns piques my interest; I've long daydreamed of dwarf fortress-style verticality in factorio.
