No, they did not confirm any plans for Linux support. They confirmed plans for device support, right after clarifying that the device should be compatible if you're streaming from a Windows PC.

    The steam frame runs linux, so if they support the steam frame device they will by definition be building linux support.

    The Steam Frame has two modes, streaming from a PC or standalone. Furthermore, Valve's product page focuses heavily on the streaming capability.

    So, no, your statement is not true. And besides, they didn't even make any commitment to supporting it! They said they would look into it. That's all.

    You are correct, they didn't commit to it, just said they would look into it.

    I'm just saying that if they do support the steam frame natively, not just via PC streaming, then that would be adding linux support.

    They make things like a vest, arm cuffs and face cushion to simulate physical touch. I've seen people use it for things like feeling when they get shot by a gun, or when walking towards a strong wind, etc.

    There's some fun Twitch streams where they have an overlay image of their bHaptics gear, and it lights up in the areas they are currently feeling it.
