"The joke is on you! Chinese [and Arabs and Russians] aren't people" -- liberals
I'm almost sure I won't get a serious answer but how is a joke about a specific person racist? It's not about stereotypes, just similarity to a cartoon figure. I live in Europe and my head of state looks like Mr Burns (he really does). Is that racism against white people? What is the difference?
.mlol
Edit: me, a dumbass banned from Reddit from suggesting baseball commissioner rob manfred is a fascist who can barely operate this site. Sometimes I read the memes and laugh. Sometimes i just don’t get them. When I don’t understand the meme it’s usually from some .ml place. I don’t know what that means. Sorry if that makes you mad. But stupid people have rights too
Serious question: Why do y'all "hurt durr .ml" commenters even bother clicking on posts in our communities? Just block us.
Because we're living rent free in their heads, they can't help themselves.
How else are they supposed to feel like they're superior to another group? It's just ingrained division bullshit that they haven't learned to deprogram yet
because about 15% of your output is thought provoking and worthwhile, and because we would become insufferably braindead only absorbing only liberal content.
I'd say it's a great deal higher than 15%, but if your goal is to get opposing viewpoints, why not swap to a more broadly federated instance?
Eh, I've not seen enough to get a statistically significant sample of .ml posts, but naturally you (commie) are going to find more of your own propaganda virtuous. As to instance hopping, I don't use lemmy enough to make it worth researching basically, nor is my goal to get opposing views necessarily, some opposing views are so dogshit they aren't worth the observation (i.e. anything J.D.Vance or Liz Truss has ever said). Tradmarxists have a consistent lense with which to view the world which leads to coherrent, if not always good, takes.
