Not even a contest, leaf sheep sea slug.

I don't know what kind of kids show you could do with that. Maybe teach kids about the importance of conservation; it doesn't really matter because JUST LOOK AT IT, EEEEEEE!!! (⋆❛ ہ ❛⋆) ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝

I bet I could put on a fun show as a crow. We'd have songs about shinies, and working together, painting, problem solving, all sorts of crow shit. I'd also be friends with a leopard and a horse, just to round out the cast.
A butterfly. Cos no one would suspect the butterfly.
First off, humans are animals.
But since a transformation is involved then I'm gonna change into a dingo so everyone can blame the parents.
Reminds me of an old joke.
Two male dogs, a little Yorkie and a giant Great Dane are in the vet's office. The little Yorkie is crying.
"Why so sad, little guy?"
"My owner is a beautiful woman. She always smells so nice. I can't stop myself from humping her leg, so she's going to have me neutered."
"Gee, that's awful. My owner is also very beautiful. In fact, she's so pretty and smells so nice that last night I lost control and mounted her. I rode her for half an hour before I was finished."
"Oh no! She must have been so mad and disgusted. Are you getting neutered, too?"
"No, she just wanted to have my nails clipped."
I don't think they'll let you tell that one on the show.
I don't want to be on any show.
I just want to be a lucky dog.
I’d wanna be a parrot. It’s an easy fit for a kids show. They can fly and they live for like 80 years which is probably better than I’ll do as a human. Sounds perfect to me.
Vaporeon
I feel like by answering this I'm feeding into OPs sick and twisted furry fantasy, not that there's anything wrong with that.
That being said, I'm also feeling lazy and pedantic, so I'm going to say human being.
Is "a chimera mascot hybrid between a goat and an owl" a valid answer for the question's constraint of "an animal"? I could even imagine a plot:
"(Luci appears holding a book, an apple and wearing glasses, inside an improvised classroom at the corner of a cemetery)
Greetings, little earthlings! It's Professor Luci, your friendly teacher from a whole other world!
(Plays intro where Luci gleefully jumps and wanders through a cemetery while a modified and funnier version of "Masked Ball" song plays, then Luci opens wide black wings and starts flying upwards until disappearing from view for a couple of seconds, then Luci suddenly appears climbing from an open grave and starts walking cluelessly until stumbling and falling back into the grave in a funny manner)
Today we're learning a funny play: we're going to sing numbers!
On the nineteenth night, the Moon is bright,
Can't you wait for the twenty-one?
Crows are soaring, thirteen are cawing,
Unknown to heavens, the thirteen ravens
Let the fifteenth crow caw, too!
Tell the fourteenth to join us, too!
(A crow mascot appears and perches above Luci's goat horns) Hi, little friend! I can talk just like you! Be not afraid! We crows are smart and we can play, too!"
No one said sloth yet? Alright.
It'd be a very boring show, with me just lazing around, or speaking really slowly, the kids would be bored to tears.
