[–] Davriellelouna@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 child) I'm not Canadian but I lived there for a few years. I went back to my home country, but I still follow Canadian politics closely. Calgary has the worst traffic fatalities rate in the country: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/pedestrian-deaths-increase-1.7530354 Alberta has the worst measles epidemic in North America: https://www.ctvnews.ca/edmonton/article/alberta-surpasses-us-in-confirmed-measles-cases-with-more-than-1300/ Premier Danielle Smith publically criticized vaccines: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/danielle-smith-adolf-hitler-netflix-rachel-notley-1.6836160 __________ If Alberta politicians are too incompetent to manage traffic safety or prevent measles, what makes people think they can manage a new country...??? No offense, but this would be a Failed State on day 1. permalink fedilink source hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] C4551E@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 year ago She would beg Trump to come annex Alberta on day 1. permalink fedilink source parent
