Create a Karl Marx Pixelart at the canvas (!canvas@toast.ooo) (feddit.de)

Like Reddit, Lemmy now has a pixel canvas. The community is !canvas@toast.ooo and the canvas can be found at the following link: https://canvas.toast.ooo/.

If you want to participate in building Karl Marx, you can use the template (the image) from above.

Download the image (as png). Then click on the gear in the upper right corner on the canvas, upload the image as template and use the following settings:

Horizontal position: 577, Vertical position 763 Width: 52 Style: "Use Source Style Color Conversion Mode: "Nearest Custom

This will place the image in the right place.

    The 'UNITE' banner under Marx is not in our template, but it feels appropriate. I submit we should not fight them, and maybe give them a hand filling in

    do some folks have the ability to paint over other people's work? I can't, but people have painted over my mistakes (thanks @michl@sh.itjust.works) Is this to do with the lock button?

    I think this is the exhale of the manga girl. I think we could leave it there and just paint around it. No idea if that will look good in the end.

    If they would just keep it against the portrait background rather than covering over a quarter of the face, that would probably be fine, but they were fighting me tooth and nail around the right eye last night before they seemingly gave up on it.
