Hard crash! Good to know he's okay. Those kerbs really do a number on the suspension. I bet the rest of the drivers finally listened to their engineers now.

    Sky suggested it could have been caused by the detour he took next to the start-finish straight

    I wouldn't be surprised if something was already failing just before running wide. It is barely a corner running up to the straight, no way Kevin would have run wide in normal conditions.
