This is a long read but chilling.

TL:DR: The Christian conservatives are packing all of the courts from local to the SCOTUS and have been doing so for a decade or more.

If someone has a better summary please feel free to post. I'm feeling apoplectic after watching the speaker role go to a Christian nutjob today and am frankly getting pretty depressed.
